Passing on knowledge at Oxford Brookes University

Yesterday I had the great privilege of being invited to talk to a group of business and marketing students at Oxford Brookes University about my experience as an entrepreneur, and my time on The Apprentice UK.

I spoke about dealing with adversity, and what I believe has given me my drive. I also passed on a few tips on dealing with trolls, and those who set out to put you down. Not many people have had to endure over 350,000 tweets about themselves (majority fringe related!). Learning what feedback is constructive and worth listening to, and what is just offensive and unnecessary, is really important – you have to believe in yourself and your end goal.

They were an absolute pleasure, really engaged and had some fab questions. I’m have no doubt they’ll all go far in business.  Thank you for having me – looking forward to coming back soon!
